Testi Apps Limited — last updated 11 August 2026
Testi ("we", "us") is operated by Testi Apps Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy covers the Testi mobile apps and the Testi web app and website.
Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.
We use your data to provide and improve the service, to sign you in, to send you service messages and alerts, to process payments, and to respond to support requests. We rely on the performance of our contract with you to provide the service, sign you in, send service messages and alerts, and process payments. We rely on our legitimate interests in improving the service and responding to support requests, and on your consent where the law requires it.
We do not currently send marketing emails. If we start to, we will only do so as permitted by law, every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link, and we will update this policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to provide the service: with official booking services to carry out actions you have asked us to perform, and with trusted service providers who help us run Testi (such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and advertising). We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
The web app uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies: a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in, a device cookie that lets us recognise your browser across sign-ins and manage your devices, short-lived cookies used to complete Google sign-in securely, and a cookie that keeps your visit on one version of the app while we roll out updates. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on our website or web app. If that changes, we will ask for your consent with a cookie banner first and update this policy.
Our mobile apps use third-party analytics and advertising services provided by Google, which collect device identifiers (including your device's advertising identifier) and app usage data. You can limit this at any time through your device settings: on iOS, decline the tracking prompt or turn off tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security; on Android, delete or reset your advertising ID under Settings > Privacy. Our website and web app do not show ads and do not use these services.
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove it unless we are legally required to keep it.
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses.
Your data is encrypted in transit and stored on secured systems with restricted access. If a personal data breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify the relevant regulator where required and tell you without undue delay.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we use your personal data. You can delete your account and your data at any time from Settings in the app, or at testi-app.co.uk/delete. To exercise any other right, or to contact us about anything in this policy, email support@testi-app.co.uk.
Our apps and website may link to third-party sites and services, which have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email.
